An interesting case: Chuck Close

Chuck Close is an american painter, artist and photographer born in July 5, 1940, who suffers from prosopagnosia. He turned his disease in art, becoming widely known with photorealistic portraits. He was able to self express himself through art, showing how having prosopagnosia feels.¹

His most famous art is called Lucas I (1986–1987), an oil & pencil on canvas, seen on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.²
